Members of the Bali Nine, Maybe Executed Death punishment this week

Lil Islam - Two members of the Bali Nine death row, Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan may be executed this week. Chief prosecutor of Bali, Momock Bambang Samiarso said two members of the drug syndicate will soon face a firing squad this week.

But, he said, certainty still waiting for a signal from Nusakambangan to move these two death row inmates. "Very likely they will be executed this week, we are waiting for a signal from Nusakambangan to move them," said Bambang Samiarso Momock, Monday (23/2).

Today, Monday (23/2) Bambang Samiarso will discuss the transfer of two death row inmates with the relevant authorities in Nusakambangan. The meeting further clarify the fate of the two Bali Nine were sentenced to death. Possibility of magnitude, they will soon be executed in this week.

While the Attorney General HM Prasetyo said, preparations execution of the death row inmates are still running. "Preparation go ahead," said Prasetyo at the Attorney General, on Monday (23/2).

Previously, removal of the two convicts were having problems. Attorney argued, it was due to technical reasons. Prison Nusakambangan still can not accommodate convicted in large quantities.

In different places, observers of international relations, University of Indonesia, Hikmahanto Juwana said the executions have to expedited.

He said if the longer executed, the more maneuvers performed by other countries to Indonesia.

"We do not want if image of Indonesia so bad," he said, Sunday (22/2).

He continued the government have to aggressively to disseminate to other countries, especially the people against the death penalty.

The Government through the diplomats, he said, should meet directly with public and explain the Indonesian state of emergency drugs.

"That we are not dealing with their country, but criminals. What might they protect criminals," he said.

Hikmahanto said, the government must be proactive in explaining to the world. This can be done one by talking through the foreign media.

He continued, the government have to do so in order that the foreign public would understand, no misperceptions and Indonesian relations with other countries is maintained.

"Ask to citizens there what has been a mutually beneficial relationship and already are at stake because of evildoers. Do not let the country to defend his country what drug kingpin. There was the Indonesian perspective," he explained.

Hikmahanto also supports the position of President Jokowi who do not want to be intervened by these countries. He considered, the pressures that have been made by some countries to this day has no effect on the decision to continue to carry out Jokowi execution.

"Instead of Jokowi have to submit to them and dealing with his own people. Because people would be angry. It have to be understood that those countries. It Jokowi but instead wants the people of the republic of Indonesia," he said.

"The Jokowi want to be deposed, because Jokowi good relationship with that country. Sovereignty we are the not want to be at stake. Even public also say immediately executed. Instead we are smeared by them," he explained. (ROL)
