ICW: Nine Case Ignored Similar Bambang Widjojanto Criminal Investigation

Lil Islam - The Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) released a few cases that are not handled by the Criminal Investigation Police (Bareskrim). In fact, the case is similar to that ensnare KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) deputy chairman Bambang Widjojanto.

Bambang cases, reported a businessman and politician PDI-P, Sugianto Sabran with Section 242 Code of criminal law (KUHP) and Section 55 Code of criminal law (KUHP). Sugianto delivered a report on January 19, 2015 to the Police Headquarters and then followed up with an increase in the status of the investigation on January 20, 2015, and the arrest of Bambang three days later.

"The process of investigation in this case so quickly. It is inverted with the same case though also reported to Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri)," said ICW Coordinator Emerson Yuntho in a press release on Thursday (29/1).

Emerson, who also joined the Coalition Save the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) noted there were nine cases were reported with Section 242 Code of criminal law (KUHP) to the Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri), but until now no clear development. Among other things, the complainant Daan Dimara, former commissioner of the Election Commission which reported Hamid Awaluddin, a former commissioner of the Election Commission (KPU) / former law minister on 14 September 2006

"Rapporteur stated that Hamid under oath, do not admit to having a meeting for determining the price of seal ballot, in June 2004 although the witness said that Hamid was present at the meeting," said Emerson. As a result, follow-up reports are not clear.

Another case is the rapporteur on behalf of Andar Situmorang. Parties who reportedly was Ainur Rohima or Inul on June 24, 2009. Inul Daratista, said Emerson, reported for allegedly making false evidence and has made a false report, with him, we also report the 10 lawyers from the office Hotman Paris and colleagues as had falsified documents
