According to him, as the person who has the authority of a ministerial level, Chief of Presidential Staff has the function of providing strategic information to the President, helped President designing political communications between agencies and to the public, and help the President identify strategic issues that may occur.

"However, with the conflict between Corruption Eradication Commission and the National Police, the role of the Presidential staff seemed less than optimal to perform its functions," he said.

As a result, the conflict between Corruption Eradication Commission and the National Police, he said. make President Jokowi as a hotbed of political opponents and got a negative perception of the public. Hardi suggested the President to immediately evaluate the post of Chief of the Presidency Staff, whether it has a significant contribution or not.

Some say the conflict was caused by the actions of certain politicians that there is behind the scenes, there is also convinced conflict occurs because Jokowi influenced people around the circle of his cabinet.
